Hi you'all, greetings from Kentucky. I am super excited to get to know all of you before and in Portland. Please see more about me in the Google space. I have been spending the past 15 years with creating an ESL community of Practice in Kentucky and beyond. The idea is to put teachers together so we do not replicate resources and work but instead build on each other's knowledge. Our mantra is: Work smarter - not harder. I will show you a number of social media tools we use to achieve this goal with concrete examples, of course. Specifically, the tools will be useful not just in teaching and professional development. Instead they are powerful tools for collaboration specifically for ESL teachers who need to service many different students and work with many different classroom and specials teachers. I hope we will all learn a lot together!
